By now, almost every fitness professional is probably familiar with the hip thrust exercise. It’s great for training the glutes and has been a go-to move for my clients for year. However, I decided to tweak it a bit and share it with you.

This video demonstrates the best band hip thrust variation you’ve probably never tried.

The main reason you’ve likely never tried the second band hip thrust version highlighted in the video above is because most resistance bands are not designed for it, or are conducive for it. This is just one of the many reasons why I designed the NT Loop Bands – to be the absolute best band on the market for hip training.

This variation will give you progressive resistance and takes much less effort to setup than using a barbell. This also makes it significantly better for those with lower back issues.
